Terms&Conditions.

Last updated: February 2026. These terms govern your use of our website and our installation services.

1. Who we are

Guardian Artificial Lawns is a trading name of Guardian Builders Ltd. We can be contacted at info@guardian-builders.com or on 01634 557852.

2. Use of this website

This website is provided for general information about our services. We work hard to keep the content accurate but make no warranty that it is complete, up-to-date or free from error. Photography is illustrative — the finished appearance of your lawn will depend on the product specified, site conditions and the agreed scope of works.

You agree not to use the website in any way that could damage it, disable it, overburden it, or interfere with another party's use of it.

3. Quotes and surveys

We provide free, no-obligation site surveys within our coverage area (Greater London, Kent, Surrey and Essex). Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may differ from any initial estimate provided by phone or email until a physical site survey has been carried out.

4. Contracts and acceptance

A contract is formed when you accept a written quote in writing (including by email) and pay any agreed deposit. Until that point, no work is reserved and either party may walk away without obligation.

5. Deposits and payment

For most residential installations we ask for a deposit on booking to cover materials. The balance is due on completion of the works to your reasonable satisfaction. Commercial and large-scale projects are invoiced in stages as agreed in the quote.

6. Guarantees

Our installations are covered by a 10-year product guarantee from the manufacturer and our own 24-month groundworks guarantee. Full terms are provided in writing on completion. Guarantees cover defects in workmanship and materials under normal domestic use and do not cover wilful damage, acts of God, or alterations made by third parties.

7. Cancellation rights

Where work is agreed off-premises (for example at a kitchen-table site visit), you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have asked us to begin work within that period and we have done so, you may be charged a reasonable amount for what has been performed.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot by law be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising out of a contract with us is limited to the price paid by you under that contract.

We are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, for losses that are not caused by our breach, or for any business losses (loss of profit, business interruption or loss of opportunity).

9. Intellectual property

All copy, photography, branding, logos and design on this website are © Guardian Builders Ltd unless otherwise indicated. You may not reproduce any of this material without our prior written consent. The Guardian Artificial Lawns wordmark and visual identity are protected under UK trade-mark law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If you are a consumer in another part of the UK, you retain the protection of the mandatory laws of your home jurisdiction.
