About the Project
38mm Comfort Lawn installed to a back garden in Gravesend, Kent. This was a garden makeover project — we installed porcelain tiles, drainage and sleeper planters. To add the finishing touch we completed our standard install process for our Comfort Lawn, as the garden was free-draining. A new-build property with poor soil meant the client couldn’t keep a nice lawn for their children to enjoy. Completed in a week by our hard-working professional install team — what a difference.
Project Objectives
Engineer the Foundations
Site reduced to engineered depth, free-draining sub-base laid and compacted before any lawn touches the ground.
Honour the Existing Garden
Protect access routes, planting and adjacent surfaces throughout — leave the site cleaner than we found it.
Match the Product to the Use
Specify the right pile height and yarn — family garden, pet area, terrace or sports surface each has the right answer.
Build for the Long Term
UV-stabilised European lawn, calibrated falls, perimeter pinning and kiln-dried infill — built to outlast 18 months ×10.
