About the Project
30mm Active Lawn installed to a school playground on the Isle of Grain in Kent. For this project we installed over tarmac with a 20mm shock-pad underlay. On this occasion we also installed the sensory playground equipment and fencing as a turnkey project for the client — totally transforming a previously drab and shaded area of the playground. Completed in 1 week by our hard-working professional install team.

Engineer the Foundations
Site reduced to engineered depth, free-draining sub-base laid and compacted before any lawn touches the ground.
Honour the Existing Garden
Protect access routes, planting and adjacent surfaces throughout — leave the site cleaner than we found it.

Specify the right pile height and yarn — family garden, pet area, terrace or sports surface each has the right answer.
Build for the Long Term
UV-stabilised European lawn, calibrated falls, perimeter pinning and kiln-dried infill — built to outlast 18 months ×10.
